July 30, 2010

Max's Chocolate Chicken, written by Rosemary Wells, is a heart-warming story of Max, a curious little rabbit and his bossy elder sister Ruby.

One day Ruby dared Max saying that the one who finds the most no. of eggs in the Easter egg hunt  will get the chocolate chicken that a secretive Easter Bunny places in the birdbath. As Max starts looking for eggs, he becomes easily diverted by mud puddles, acorns and many objects he finds on the ground. On the other hand, Ruby starts finding more and more eggs to win the chocolate chicken. What will Max do if Ruby finds more eggs? Let your kids find out the secret in this beautifully illustrated book.
