Sub: Scheme for grant of Special Award to Meritorious children of our employees


The scheme for grant of Special award to meritorious children has been reviewed and recast for simplification.The Award amount has now been linked to the Group / level of examination,duration of courses and percentage (%) secured, wherever mentioned, as per Annexure-A.


The revised provision shall become applicable with immediate effect. Children who have completed their course in the current year shall be covered.


Except the changes brought out and conveyed as per Annexure-A, the other provisions of the scheme shall remain unchanged.


Further, children who secure a rank in first 5 positions at Graduate/Post-Graduate level exams conducted by a University, or a rank in first 10 positions at Board level exams, shall continue to be eligible for additional special award of Gold medal weighing 10 gms. However, it may be clarified that for University level examination, the ranking should be within student strength of atleast 50 numbers enrolled for the course.
