The Fire & Safety Department of Panipat Refinery took pride in providing fire protection service at Karnal Airport during the visit of Her Excellency Ms. Pratibha Patil, the Honourable President of India, to Karnal on July 24, 2010. Under the guidance of Mr. A.K. Maji, SFSO, one foam fire tender along with the full crew was deputed for the same. It is a matter of great pride that Panipat Refinery's Fire service successfully handled the critical assignment. Previously the Refinery has provided such services during VVIP visits of Prime Minister, Vice President, UPA Chair Person etc.
