UPSO-I has signed an MOU with M/s Moser Baer India Limited, New Delhi for marketing of Solar Lanterns / Solar Charging Stations. The MOU was signed by Shri B S Canth, GM, UPSO-I and Shri Rajiv Kenue, Vice President, Moser Baer, in the presence of senior officials from UPSO-I.
 
While sale of Solar lanterns and setting up of Solar Charging Stations give opportunity to RO/KSK Dealers & LPG Distributors to generate additional revenue, it also fulfills our Corporate commitment towards conserving environment and reducing pollution. Use of Solar lanterns reduce the health hazards due to smoke inhalation and reduce carbon footprint due to burning of SKO for home Lighting.
