- IndianOil Refineries once again crossed the 100% capacity utilisation mark during 2009-10.
- IndianOil Refineries achieved crude throughput of 50.7 MMT during fiscal 2009-10 registering overall capacity utilization of 102% with coordinated efforts of Corporate Office, Marketing, Pipelines, and Refineries Divisions for evacuation of the products.
- Overall capacity utilization was more than 100% for the third year in a row despite planned revamp / M&I shut downs for
implementation of quality up gradation projects in all the Refineries.
- Optimum operation of Secondary units at all IndianOil Refineries through timely catalyst skimming /replacing catalyst wherever required, minimizing down time etc., has enabled Refineries in achieving the highest combined distillate yield of 75.2 wt% for two years consecutively.
- Barauni and Panipat Refineries have recorded the highest ever distillate yield of 86.9 wt% and 80.7 wt% respectively.
- Barauni and Panipat Refineries achieved highest-ever crude throughputs of 6186 TMT and 13629 TMT respectively surpassing the previous best of 5940 TMT (2008-09) and 13067 TMT (2008-09) respectively where as Guwahati Refinery achieved the highest throughput of 1076 TMT for second consecutive year (1075.7 TMT in 2008-09).
- Capacity utilization of Guwahati, Barauni, and Panipat Refineries was 108%,103 % and 114 % respectively.
- Guwahati Refinery achieved highest DCU throughput of 414.9 TMT for second consecutive year (414.7 TMT in 2008-09).
- Barauni Refinery achieved highest ever FCCU throughput of 1501 TMT surpassing the previous highest of 1454 TMT (2008-09).
- Panipat Refinery achieved highest ever HCU/OHCU combined throughputs of 3693 TMT surpassing the previous best of 3629
TMT (2008-09).
- Naphtha Cracker Unit at Panipat - Feed cut in for IndianOil's first and India’s largest Naphtha Cracker Unit has been done on
March 11, 2010. This is the sixth Naphtha Cracker Unit and the largest single train Naphtha Cracker Unit of the country
